Question:
I have a new question. Have you ever thought about adding a cheat day
or cheat meal once a week after you are done with the 21 day detox?
My fiancee thinks I should because otherwise it will just not be
realistic for me to be so strict. What do you think?
Answer:
That never even entered my mind to tell you the truth. I am an
ADDICT. If I begin to allow myself to go back into my old ways of
eating even once. I'm gone!.......I'll just continue to justify here
and there and before you know it, I'm right back up to over 200
pounds.
This diet has really changed my mind set. I have family members who
are upwards of 300 pounds and they think this program is "drastic".
I look at what I was at over 200 pounds and say no......being heavy to
the point of failing health is drastic.
I really have set my world up to be in a no fail mode. I want to eat
at really healthy restaurants from now on and make the best choices
when it comes to my diet from here on in.
I wouldn't be surprised if most of the foods that I've been consuming
all my life, I've been allergic to and did'nt even realize it.
This program has helped me get there. No other diet I've ever tried
did before has.
This is a life change and I'm 44 years old with 2 children to raise.
They are little ones so I have to stay around for a long time.
Thats just me. I can't speak for anyone else for what they ought to
be or ought not to be doing. Everything I've shared has been my walk
and my walk alone. I have had to find my own way and everyone else
will too.
We may not have agreed with each other along the way but we respected
each others decisions and had complete understanding of why someone
may have done something different.
Support is what makes the walk possible and for that I have been
extremely grateful to all of you.
