Question:
I'm on day 5 and things are going pretty well, I think. The only
strange thing is that I haven't gone to the bathroom (except to
urinate) at all so far. The only elimination I've had was from the
coffee enema on day 3, so I'm just wondering if anyone else is
experiencing this at all. I have been taking my herbal supplement and
aloe vera as instructed, so it seems strange that I wouldn't need to
"go" at all in 5 days. I have a colonic appointment coming up next
week, so I'm hoping that will help me eliminate a lot, since it's so
important to the detox. I don't have any issues with this when I'm
eating regular food, so it's a little disconcerting.
Answer:
Well im not sure if it's actually normal but Iv'e been going through
the same thing...and i've heard a couple poeple on the blog say the
same thing..Your lucky because for me not even the enemas work much I
cant really give you advice on that but I just wanted to let you know
that your not alone.....I'm looking in to a colonic and hope its gonna
help.....Have you heard that you can store ya know?( poop) in your
colon and it can weight between 5-50 lbs thats a lot!!!!!! so I'm
anxioius to get the colonic done soon.
That sounds troubling. Have either of you tried the natural laxative
recipes that Dr. Roni has in the book?
My hydrotherapist said that "normal" bowel movements are three times a
day or more. She disagrees with some doctors who say every few days
is okay. She also said that the colonic hydrotherapy helps get people
to the point of having "normal" bowel movements who never thought they
could--but it may take several appts to get there.
I am not surprised to hear that people are having trouble going. How
much fiber were we all eating up until the day we started this diet?
Now all of a sudden we are bombarding ourselves with fiber, and no
foods that grease us up or upset our stomach to make us go. That's
one of the reasons why vegetables are the "cleaners," because all
their fiber pushes things along. I had tons of food intolerances and
so I used to constantly have the runs. I am sure others out there
could think of things that made them go before. Cofee? Milk? Eggs?
Alcohol? Now, we have all cut those things out completely and
replaced them with tons and tons of fiber so of course we are having
far less movements! I think it will just take time before our bodies
get used to working to push fiber along our digestive track. I guess
I am lucky because I used to go so often before that now it is more
normal. I am still having a huge reduction though, so I am being good
about taking my aloe juice---seems to help.
