Question:
I am on day 3 and lost 9 pounds after the first two days. I have
slept so much, but was depleted from the weeks leading up to this. I
was feeling slighltly nauseated, like I was getting over the flu and
my stomach was not back to itself. I feel much better today. And
seem to have more energy. My skin does look better and I do feel
clearer in the head.
The drinks get very monotonous, which is why it would be good to
juice, but I am not going through the expense and time at this point.
I feel very encourgaged and am not craving food or feel hungary, but I
do look forward to a green salad and grilled chicken! Can you
imagine? I promise I will never abuse food again!
Answer:
I hear you about the salad. That is the only thing I have been
craving. Salad and avocados. Here I am eating nothing but veggies,
and pining away for the end of my diet so I can eat salad and avocados
again! I would never have believed this if somebody would have told
me I would think this way toward food one day. My biggest concern is
whether I can eat avocado on my salad when I end the detox, since
avocado is technically a fruit. To me, I think it is like a veggie and
that I should be able to eat it with other veggies, but she says to
only eat fruits alone. . . What a long way to come from eating Jack n
the Box and McDs all the time!
