Question:
Well im facinated by the sucess stories of all of you and I feel that
i want to make a big step in my life and start the detox. I tried
reading the book but im completely lost in what to buy. I won't be
buying the kit online bc funds are low lol but Im planning on going to
Whole Foods and my local health food store to purchase the products. I
was wondering if anybody can let me know what I need to buy
specifically. I know that we need berry drinks, soup products, teas,
enzyme pills, supplements, etc. I would greatly appreciate if somebody
can give me this information. If all turns well I plan to start the
detox this Monday coming up.
Answer:
I know the book gets a little long winded with all the reasons you
SHOULD do this. I found if I skipped to page 153, chapter 7 I found a
lot more detail as to what I needed to get.
You will find the shopping list on page 163 for the health food store
which is your food enzymes (for after you eat the soup or drink the
juice you juiced, a green drink, an Antioxidant berry drink, an herbal
cleanse formula for the colon and liver.
You really have to decide what is going to work for you. If you are
going to juice for your 12:30 supplement (page 174) then you will need
to buy a juicer.
There are soup recipes in the book (pg 206) so use them to decide what
veggies you need to buy, there is also a list of suggested spices on
page 161.
Really read through chapter 7. It helps alot and let us know if you
have anymore questions...we have lots of people here to help!
I have to warn you that I bought the kit online, and still ended up
spending $300 on my first trip to Whole Foods, so I hope you are not
expecting it to be a cheap trip. I think you could get out of there
for less than $200, but it will be challenging. For me, it was worth
it to spend that much because I was eating out so many times a week
that I figure I am actually saving money on this diet. If you factor
in my Starbucks in the morning ($5), lunch ($12) and dinner ($20), I
routinely spent about $37 a day on food without realizing it. Your
initial expenditure will be large, but if you spent any money eating
out before, you will make it up there. I also bought a LOT of things
that were not absolutely necessary, just because I like variety.
